About the Neonatal Unit    

We recognise that having a premature or ill baby will be an anxious time for you.  However, we will do everything we can to support, inform and guide you throughout your time with us.

A total of 13-cots provide specialist and high dependency care for newly born and premature babies born at 32-weeks and above. Babies who need special care, but are well enough to be with their mother, may be nursed in Transitional Care.

Please ask the nurse looking after your baby if you have any further questions.

Partnership with parent's agreement:

"We believe that all babies and their families should be treated with respect and dignity working in partnership with parents to achieve care that puts their baby and family at the centre of our services in an appropriate unit for your baby's care "
