Cara Williams
Cara Williams joined the Trust on the 1st May 2020 as the new Chief Digital Information Officer. Cara has over 25 years’ experience working within information and communication technology (ICT), customer services and digital transformation in local government, Fire and Rescue Services as well as public sector partnerships, in England, Scotland and Wales. She has also worked as a consultant for an international digital company. Latterly she set up the ICT Services for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority as part of the devolution of government powers and the creation of the role of Greater Manchester Mayor, currently held by Andy Burnham, from April 2017.
Cara is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, has an MBA in Public Administration, is a qualified Programme, Project and Change Manager with experience in delivering public service reform.She is also a qualified and practising coach and mentor. Cara has lived in Chester for 18 years and has two sons.
